What You Will Learn

After the successful completion of this course, you will be able to…
– exchange greetings when you meet someone
– introduce yourself
– understand numbers = can tell room/phone numbers
– ask someone to say something again if you don’t really understand
– answer when someone asks if you speak Japanese and ask if someone speaks other languages
– ask how to say something in Japanese and understand the answer
– read and write Japanese alphabet (hiragana & katakana) so you can write your name in katakana
